Our approach

Illuminate Community Recovery Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by a loved one’s substance use. Our team of highly trained CRAFT therapists, Recovery Advocates, Outreach Specialists, and Family Specialists is committed to helping families navigate the challenges of addiction with compassion and clarity.

Our mission is to empower and guide families using the evidence-based CRAFT approach. We provide individualized support, facilitate family-focused support groups, and offer referrals to trusted providers for services outside our scope, such as medical detox, inpatient treatment, or intensive outpatient programs. We work closely with our partners to ensure each family receives the appropriate level of care throughout their journey.

You shouldn’t have to choose between helping someone who is struggling and protecting your own well-being. The CRAFT model offers a balanced path forward—one that honors both your desire to support your loved one and your need for healthy personal boundaries. We believe that hope, change, and healing are possible—for everyone involved.
